Well-Being - Satisfaction With Life Scale

To get the most out of being coached (whether you are self-coaching or have hired a coach) it is valuable to know how you are doing, both in the right-here-right-now and in your life in general. In positive psychology terms, this is called your level of "well-being"

The Satisfaction With Life Scale is the first of two widely used assessments that reliably measure your levels of well-being. It looks at your positive feelings and (obviously) your life satisfaction. After you take the short assessment and receive your scores, you will receive a series of journaling questions to help you get the most out of the assessment.

The assessment consists of five statements that you may agree or disagree with. Using the 1 to 7 scale shown, indicate your agreement with each statement by placing the appropriate number beside the item. Please be as open and honest with yourself as possible.

7 - strongly agree
6 - agree
5 - slightly agree
4 - neither agree or disagree
3 - slightly disagree
2 - disagree
1 - strongly disagree
